We are seeking talented and passionate post-docs to join our lab within the Department of Genetics at Yale School of Medicine. Our lab is a multi-disciplinary team with an equal focus on computational and experimental science. Our mission is to end the diagnostic odyssey for rare disease patients by improving our ability to interpret variants in known disease genes through the development of computational methods empowered by large data sets, creation of next-generation human cell-based models and innovative physiologically relevant assays.
Required qualification and skills
Candidates should have a PhD in either genetics, genomics, computational biology or cell biology. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture and next generation sequencing analysis is highly desired. Ability to work independently, multi-task, rapidly troubleshoot and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new skills are required. We are only seeking candidates to work on experimental projects. Postdocs are expected to mentor and actively be involved in the development of junior members of the lab. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Interested candidates are encouraged to send a cover letter and resume/CV to monkol.lek@yale.edu
